Who needs the 1-year vignette for the Slovenia?
Toll collection ensures a constant, stable, and long-term source of paying for the construction and reconstruction of motorways. It is also used to finance the management and maintenance of the motorway network.
If you are frequently traveling across the country or using the motorways in Slovenia, then the best option is an annual vignette.
Slovenia has a well-connected road network, with most motorways being toll roads. Regional roads are exempt from tolls, and there are specific exceptions where no vignette is required, such as certain sections of the A2 and H6 roads. For The Karawanks Tunnel a special toll is charged and can be paid at the Hrušica toll station.
